Café & Restaurant
We welcome you to the peaceful tranquility of Mount Richmond Estate and Foresters Café where we hope that you will enjoy our home made foods created with local produce wherever possible.
Background
Foresters is named after the origins of the site. Mount Richmond Estate was the old Rai Forestry camp, now superbly transformed into well appointed
motels suites, cafe and meeting complex. The cafe/restaurant itself has character with forestry work memorabilia complemented by wall mounted prints of forestry through the centuries.
Designed with relaxation in mind, the refurbished building has panoramic windows with great views over the estate and hills, comfortable sofas, and for winter, a warming log burner as a focal point.
The Food
We have a great selection of café style food from breakfasts, snacks, and lunches through to a slightly more formal dinner style menu.
A full menu of coffee made from Marlborough’s very own CPR coffee roasters can accompany your meal or just have one of our kitchen created cakes or slices.
Special Diets
We always have slices and meals designed for celiacs. Other special diets can be catered for on request in advance.
Dinner
Dinner is served from 6pm on Fridays and Saturday, reservations are strongly recommended.
Groups
We can accommodate groups of up to 30. We will be pleased to discuss your requirements in advance.
Wi-fi / Internet
If you have your own laptop wi-fi is available. Tickets can bought at the counter.
